There are so many different products and brands available; it makes shopping for makeup a little overwhelming. In my experience, there have been a lot of hits and misses.

Now, when I think about my favourites, there are three that immediately come to mind: NARS blush, Chanel Bronze Universal, and YSL Glossy Stains.

NARS Danmari Palette

It is really unfortunate that this blush palette is limited edition. The palette houses some of my favourite NARS blushes (Orgasm, Super Orgasm, Sin, and Desire). Plus it has a lovely highlighter and bronzer. NARS makes wonderful blushes that apply beautifully and look great on!

Chanel Bronze Universal

Bronzers are a wonderful product! They can make your skin look sunkissed and glowy or they can define and contour your face. My favourite bronzer is the Chanel Bronze Universal. It is a cream product that provides a natural bronzed look to the skin. You can apply it all over the face, or use it as a base under a powder bronzer. Either way, it looks marvelous.

YSL Glossy Stains

These Glossy Stains are something else. I have never tried anything like them before. An ingenious hybrid between a lipstick, lip gloss, and a stain. My holy grail would have to be #7 Corail Aquatique; it’s a gorgeous peachy coral. It has a glossy finish and it’s non-drying. While it does transfer on any glassware or Starbucks cups, it’s generally long-wearing and lasts quite a while.
